New Delhi: Describing the important role of Indian women’s power in the development of the United Nations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the guidelines of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee are important for its future path. Sharing his thoughts with the nation in his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on All India Radio, Shri Modi said that today 24th October is celebrated as ‘United Nations Day. India has been associated with the United Nations since its inception. The Declaration of the United Nations was signed in 1945, before independence. He said, “A unique aspect related to the United Nations is that the women’s power of India has played a big role in increasing the influence and power of the United Nations.”
